The Mission

AUADD works to reduce dangerous driving across the United States — distracted driving, drunk driving, reckless behavior that kills tens of thousands of people every year in America.

They needed a mobile app that could: distribute safety content, build a community of advocates, and make it easy for people to engage with road safety resources from their phones.

The Challenge

Nonprofit tech budgets are real constraints. AUADD needed a professionally built app for both iOS and Android — but couldn’t pay for two separate native development efforts.

Flutter solved this. One codebase, both platforms, significantly reduced development cost without sacrificing quality.

Why Flutter for a Nonprofit

The cost argument is clear: Flutter delivered iOS + Android for roughly the same cost as one native platform. For a nonprofit operating on grant funding and donations, that difference is real.
